The Tyler Clementi Center has recently revised its mission/vision. Moving forward, our work will examine student experience during the transition to college, paying special attention to specific aspects of campus climate and vulnerable student populations. Using this knowledge, we intend to provide tools and resources to campuses across the United States that will encourage a positive transition experience for all students. Primarily, students in this role (at least for this upcoming academic year), will be:

Primarily, students in this role (at least for this upcoming academic year), will be:
- Writing content for the Center’s social/digital media presence. We would like these students to craft "buzzfeed" style articles on various topics related to the first-year/transfer experience that encourage student awareness of various topic areas/campus resources, bystander/upstander behavior, and help-seeking practices.
- Generate one-time/on-going strategies for digital engagement of students, increase followership of students and campus professionals, research/share relevant articles/news that is of interest to first year students and campus professionals who serve them and monitor TCC social media accounts for any potential issues (students posting distressing messages, inappropriate content, etc)
- Running the #Day1 anti-bullying campaign at Rutgers. This will include planning/execution of pledge drives/events/workshops for first year students throughout the year. For more information on this campaign, visit http://day1campaign.com/
- Researching various topics for annual media campaigns relevant to the TCC
- Other relevant tasks that may arise
